Radha Raman Temple

Radha Raman Temple in Vrindavan is one of the most revered Vaishnava temples, established in 1542 CE by Gopala Bhatta Goswami, one of the six Goswamis sent by Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu. The presiding deity, Radha Raman, is a self-manifested (swayambhu) deity who appeared from a shaligrama shila. Uniquely, the deity has never left Vrindavan even during times of Mughal persecution — while other deities were moved to Jaipur for safety, Radha Raman remained. The temple is known for its strict daily seva rituals performed by the descendants of Gopala Bhatta Goswami and remains one of the most authentically traditional temples in Vrindavan.
