Rableng Hill

Rableng Hill is a prominent peak in the East Khasi Hills near Smit and the Rasong Valley, rising to 1,913 metres. Sitting within the same elevated ridge zone as Laitlum Canyon, it is a trekking destination for those exploring the Smit area trails. The ascent rewards hikers with wide valley views, bamboo-forested slopes, and a glimpse into the largely undisturbed Khasi highland landscape. It is best combined with the Laitlum viewpoint or a walk down toward Rasong village for a fuller day out.
