Baliharachandi Beach

Located about 22 km from Puri on the road toward Brahmagiri and Satapada, Baliharachandi Beach sits at the confluence of the Bhargavi River and the Bay of Bengal. The beach is anchored by the Baliharachandi Temple, a protected heritage monument dedicated to Goddess Harachandi, an eight-armed form of Durga revered as the guardian of fishermen and water travelers. Golden sand, casuarina groves, and a peaceful riverside atmosphere make it a popular picnic and pilgrimage destination away from the city crowds.
