Pothamedu Viewpoint

Pothamedu is a panoramic viewpoint about 3 kilometres from Munnar town, offering sweeping views over a vast valley of tea, coffee, and cardamom plantations. Unlike the busier spots on the Top Station road, Pothamedu has a quieter, more local feel. The sunrise views here are particularly striking, with layers of mist rolling over the plantation-covered hills. It is an easy visit and one of the best spots near Munnar for unhurried photography and fresh mountain air.
