Tanda Falls

Tanda Falls is a scenic seasonal waterfall near Mirzapur in the Vindhya range, formed by a stream cascading down the rocky hillside of the Vindhyan plateau. The falls are located in a forested area near the village of Tanda and are a popular picnic spot for residents of Mirzapur and Varanasi. During the monsoon season the falls flow strongly and the surrounding forest is at its most lush and beautiful. The rocky gorge around the falls and the forested slopes make it a peaceful natural retreat in the Vindhyan highlands.
