Stalls here specialise in thangka paintings, Buddhist handicrafts, prayer wheels, Tibetan clothing, and decorative items. It is one of the most rewarding spots for authentic Tibetan art shopping and doubles as a social gathering point where the town's unique blend of Tibetan and backpacker culture is most visible.
