Sribas Angan

The sacred courtyard of Srivasa Thakura, just 250 metres from Yogapeeth, where Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu performed ecstatic all-night kirtans with His intimate associates 500 years ago. This historic spot, also known as Khol-Bhanga Danga, houses shrines of Gaura-Nitai, Radha Krishna, and the Maha-Prakash lila deities. Considered one of the four eternal abodes of Lord Chaitanya, Sribas Angan is an essential stop on every Mayapur pilgrimage.
