Aliganj Hanuman Temple

A beloved and enormously popular temple in the Aliganj neighbourhood of Lucknow, dedicated to Lord Hanuman. The temple is especially famous for its massive Tuesday gatherings, when thousands of devotees line up for darshan, and a vibrant street fair springs up around the premises. It is considered one of the most active and culturally alive temple spaces in the city.
