Rajnagar Market

A small town about 5 km from Khajuraho, Rajnagar is the best place in the area to buy brass and silver artefacts. Every Tuesday a weekly bazaar draws vendors and buyers from the surrounding villages, with a wide selection of brassware, silverwork, and tribal jewellery at prices well below the tourist-facing shops in town. Evenings get crowded so an early arrival is recommended. Easily reached by local bus or auto from Khajuraho, it gives a more local, less tourist-oriented shopping experience.
