Moti Dungri Ganesh Temple

Moti Dungri Ganesh Temple in Jaipur is one of the most beloved Ganesh temples in Rajasthan, perched atop a small rocky hill (dungri) in the heart of the city near Birla Mandir. The temple was built in 1761 and houses an ancient idol of Lord Ganesha believed to be wish-fulfilling. The approach up the steps offers lovely views of the Birla Mandir and the city below. The temple is especially packed on Wednesdays, considered auspicious for Ganesh worship, and during Ganesh Chaturthi. A Shiva temple also exists within the complex.
