About Himalayan Zoological Park

Spread across 205 hectares at Bulbuley, the Himalayan Zoological Park is Sikkim first zoo dedicated to wildlife conservation. Unlike traditional zoos, it keeps animals in large, open enclosures that replicate their natural habitats. It is home to rare and endangered species, including the Red Panda, Snow Leopard, and Himalayan Black Bear. At an altitude of 1,780 meters, the park also offers a spectacular view of Mount Khangchendzonga, making it a must-visit for nature and wildlife enthusiasts.
