Surya Kund

Located on the outskirts of Ayodhya, Suraj Kund is a large, ancient water tank dedicated to the Sun God. Legend says the Sun God himself came to witness the birth of Lord Rama here. The site has been beautifully renovated with laser shows and light installations that narrate the Ramayana.
