Surajkund Crafts Mela
OngoingAbout
The Surajkund Crafts Mela is one of India’s largest and most celebrated cultural fairs, held every February in Surajkund, Faridabad (Haryana).
It brings together master artisans, weavers, and craft communities from across India and dozens of participating countries. Each year, the mela features a special Theme State that showcases its unique art, heritage, and traditions. Visitors can explore stunning handcrafted textiles, pottery, woodwork, paintings, jewellery, and traditional crafts in hundreds of stalls.
The event is also known for vibrant folk dances, musical performances, and cultural shows. Regional food courts offer authentic cuisines from different states, adding to the immersive experience.
The mela promotes rural craftsmanship, supports artisans economically, and preserves India’s cultural diversity. Set against an ethnic village-style backdrop, it offers a colourful, festive atmosphere for travellers, culture lovers, and shoppers alike.
