Somnath Temple Mahashivratri

તારીખ ૧૫ ફેબ્રુઆરી, ૨૦૨૬ ના રોજ સોમનાથ મહાદેવના સાનિધ્યમાં મહાશિવરાત્રી પર્વની ભવ્ય ઉજવણી કરવામાં આવશે. વર્ષ ૨૦૨૬ સોમનાથ મંદિર માટે અત્યંત મહત્વનું છે, કારણ કે આ વર્ષે મંદિરના પુનઃનિર્માણના ૭૫ વર્ષ અને પ્રથમ આક્રમણ સામેની પ્રતિકાર શક્તિના ૧૦૦૦ વર્ષ પૂર્ણ થઈ રહ્યા છે. આ નિમિત્તે શ્રદ્ધાળુઓ માટે મંદિર સતત ૪૪ કલાક ખુલ્લું રહેશે, જેમાં ચાર પ્રહરની વિશેષ પૂજા, ભવ્ય પાલખી યાત્રા અને દરિયાકાંઠે વિશેષ સાંસ્કૃતિક કાર્યક્રમો યોજાશે.

Maha Shivratri will be celebrated at the Somnath Temple on February 15, 2026, with grand festivities. This year is especially significant as it marks the 75th anniversary of the temple's restoration and the 1,000-year milestone of its historic resilience. To accommodate the massive rush, the temple will remain open for 44 hours continuously, featuring the sacred four-prahar pujas, a grand Palki Yatra (palanquin procession), and cultural performances along the sea.
